• Conducted the transformation of the portfolio of businesses into a leaner, innovative and more focused conglomerate, through the execution of several disinvestment and acquisition projects in 3 different sectors.• Performed financial modeling, due diligence processes, antitrust agency procedures and closings of around 30 transactions across chemical, automotive and consumer sectors with aggregate value of $500M. • Led the disinvestment on the pulp & paper business in Mexico for a price of $30M; 20x EBITDA multiple negotiated with a strategic investor; the transaction helped to keep around ~100 jobs in the region. • Executed the acquisition of a double clutch transmission producer company in Belgium with approximately sales of ~$17M; the transaction secured the long-term competitiveness of the current manual transmissions business. • Advised the merger of the synthetic rubber businesses in Mexico and Spain; sales of approximately ~$700M; the merger resulted in synergies for a total value of ~$30M in the first year. • Received highly-selective award as part of ten person cross-functional team recognized for the value creation.
