About Emily Miller
A fascination of biology and the impossibilities of the human body has followed me through high school and into university, where I began studying Health and Medical Science, majoring in Reproductive and Childhood health. I have since become keenly aware of the growing presence of Artificial intelligence in many aspects of society, but I am most excited about its increasing applicability in health, hence I began studying Computer Science, majoring in Artificial Intelligence. I wish to pursue exploring this overlap into my career, applying and developing the use of AI in creating medical support technologies, or using it for further research and understanding in varying fields. AI incorporation into phones and hospitals will make people's lives easier, will lighten some of the burden on healthcare facilities, and save lives. There is endless room for growth and application. In whichever area I end up in, I know that my ability to solve problems, think creatively, and be flexible will be essential to successfully meld my two degrees and lead to further understanding and development of AI applications in health.My degrees encourage proficiency in research and report writing, and skill in several coding languages. In conjunction with my volunteer club committee positions, project coordination, auditing and collaboration have been in high demand.
