I had the overall responsibility for all optical and electro-mechanical alignment of the system, working with all disciplines in engineering to prove the concept and develop operating method sheets for major assemblies, training and certifying manufacturing personnel plus strategic suppliers on pilot production phase of Product Life Cycle.• Responsible for the alignment, documentation, and testing the following technologies in Opti-Probe next generation products: Spectroscopic Ellipsometer (SE), Absolute Ellipsometer (AE), Beam Profile Reflectometer (BPR), Beam Profile Ellipsometer (BPE), Deep Ultra-violet Spectrometer (DUV), Visible and all Vision optical paths. • Worked very closely with R&D, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing groups to ensure the product is meeting all technical specifications and cost objectives without jeopardizing time to market.• Directly worked with mechanical engineering to verify the technology (fit, form, and function) and the reporting structure of the bill of materials to ensure the product is manufacturable.• Responsible to develop test fixtures for all opto-mechanical and electrical modules.• Worked directly with R&D engineers to measure, resolve, and document the precision and repeatability failures of the Opti-Probe system• Worked closely with the automation solution provider (Brooks/PRI and Asyst) to resolve majority of software and communication issues to improve throughput and cycle time by 65%. • Trained and certified by the automation strategic partner to integrate the alignment Dual Arm Trackless Robot, Load Port, Indexers, and Pre-aligners into the manufacturing released documentations, hence reducing failure rate in manufacturing by 90%.
