After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Biology with a Concentration in Bioinformatics from Boston College, I started my career at Foundation Medicine on the Clinical Bioinformatics Operations team. I began with the position of Clinical Bioinformatics Analyst and loved the opportunity to curate clinical and pharmaceutical samples everyday. After so much hands-on bioinformatics experience, I discovered that my career path lead me to people management. In beginning of 2022 I became a Lead on the team and currently manage Analysts. I am very fortunate to be able to work on a team that has a monumental impact on patient care. My passion for cancer care and bioinformatics continues to grow!My interest in bioinformatics developed during my undergrad education at BC. I studied biology and mathematics which ultimately led me to the field of bioinformatics. At Boston College, I worked for the MEMO neuroscience laboratory and my primary job was coding scripts to format the lab's data. A knowledge of biology lab skills and coding has given me a great range of experiences and skills.
