I am currently a nursing student at Seneca King College, and will be living on residence this upcoming September. Due to this my availability will be flexible and I will be able to arrive promptly when needed. I believe I could be a perfect fit on providing therapeutic relationships with customers and associates while operating the cash, maintaining a clean working station, restock merchandise, and more.I have been employed as a cashier for two years at Fortinos, a local grocery store. I was working 3-4 times a week and always provided a positive attitude and smile when greeting customers and staff. I am accustomed to standing on my feet for long periods of time due to the 5-8 hour shifts I regularly received. If needed I could address customers in Spanish if preferred. Without being told I would put returns away, restock recipe paper, return baskets, and clean my work station when no customers needed assistance. Moreover, I have experience answering the phone to customers who had any questions on store hours, returns, and goods we sold.
