I graduated in May 2022 from UNC Asheville with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication. I am currently working as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for The SAFE Alliance, a non-profit in Austin with a mission to Stop Abuse For Everyone. I have a passion for helping others and creating positive change for my community. My freshman year of college I was hired at the Key Center for Community Engaged Learning. The Key Center helps build connections between students, faculty and the Asheville community by providing volunteer and educational opportunities. I have always had a passion for creating media content. The media has a massive influence on our society, so I believe that I can create positive change by creating content. I love writing, I especially enjoy journalistic writing. I was a part of my university's newspaper, The Blue Banner, for most of my college career. I enjoy photography and editing photos, videos and podcasts. In the summer of 2021, I was a Communication Intern at Democracy North Carolina where I helped manage their social media and hosted and edited podcast episodes. During those different experiences I enhanced my leadership skills and my communication skills. I enjoy working with others and learning new things. My passion for what I do makes me great at what I do.
