Our Pitch School program allows founders to practice their investor pitch to a panel of judges focused on providing valuable feedback to improve the pitch for greater success. My role in this is to schedule the session and find feedback panel members relevant to the industry the startup is in. Finally, I manage our J-1 Entrepreneurial Visa Program that allows startup founders to focus on the ideation and customer discovery phase. I manage the screening of individuals to determine if they fit the program requirements, and then guide them through the process of applying for their J-1 Visa and remaining compliant with program rules. Additionally, I manage the marketing and communication of all BDMCE's programs internally across the University and externally to alumni and community partners. I manage a team of undergraduate marketing interns that run our social media, e-mail newsletter, and produce marketing materials.
