I am a fourth-year Communications student at The University of Georgia, interested in pursuing a career in human resources and public policy. I have multiple internships and volunteer experiences that have developed my competencies and passion in these fields.Currently, I work as a human resources intern at JacksonEMC, where I support the HR team in data management, employee relations, and recruitment. I also work as a public policy intern at Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, where I research and analyze local and state policies that affect the business community and advocate for their interests. In addition, I serve on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awareness Committee at Delta Gamma - Delta Iota Chapter, where I help create a fair and welcoming environment for all members and alumnae. Through these experiences, I have learned to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, communicate effectively, and apply HR and policy knowledge to real-world scenarios.I am eager to learn more and grow as a professional in the field of human resources and public policy. I value social justice, public service, and organizational excellence, and I seek opportunities to contribute to these goals. I am excited to join a team that shares my vision and values, and that challenges me to reach my full potential.
