Author of "The Day Sammy Found Socks", a children's book about the journey of our rescue dog, Sammy. This book is the story of Sammy, a rescued pup who was treated poorly and ended up very frightened. When he found his forever home, he continued to be scared until...one day he found something that brought magic to his life and showed him that things were okay. This is the story of Sammy's second chance.

Co-owner and manager of Why Not Paddle, providing stand-up paddleboarding experiences to the Maple Grove, MN and surrounding communities. Paddle Fit certified instructor. Teach individuals the basics and techniques of paddleboarding. Manage and coordinate rentals including introductions, safety, and custom service. Plan and facilitate social skills camps and promote appropriate social skills, while teaching paddleboarding skills. Facilitate 1:1 or small group Therapeutic Recreation programming while providing adaptations to paddleboarding experiences to fit the needs of individuals of all abilities. After School Program Supervisor -Appointed to begin the Behavior Development Program as Program Coordinator, develop the Behavior Development Program and the Healthy Emotions Program at two different sites. Facilitate case management, patient supervision, behavior management, and facilitation of groups. Develop and manage budget and ordering of supplies.Recreational Therapist - Began Recreational Therapy program at a new psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents, worked with patients ages 5-18 in the Inpatient Unit and Partial Hospitalization Program facilitating groups on a variety of topics related the therapeutic recreation skills. Formulate goals fro patients related to recreational therapy group topics, manage recreational therapy budget and supplies. Advocate for Therapeutic Recreation and mental health, volunteer to take on extra projects to better the organization and the RT program.

Assist client in dance class setting to enhance client’s dance experience, facilitate programming for people with disabilities, and set goals for programming for clients.

Facilitated and planned activities for children. Interacted with children ages birth – 8 through play, art projects and games, communicate with parents when signing in children.
