I have worked seasonally for Pathways, Inc as a member of their Human Resource department. While there some of my duties include the following:-Gather data to create matrix for workforce compensation -Participate in salary structure pay-group -Help interpret and initial enrollment of retirement benefits-Maintain Personnel, Payroll, Medical, tax forms, and retirement records for over 600 employees -Compile Human Resources metrics- Assist in preparation of responses for federal contract compliance audit

My current Part-Time position at the Center for Financial Success at WKU as a Financial Counselor is an unbelievable opportunity. While working here some of my duties include:-Counsel students on student loans, expenditures, scholarship applications, and budgeting -Utilize a variety of software including Redtail CRM and YNAB -Research specific to individual clients needs -Work in a team environment with likeminded individuals on a self-motivated level

Plancorp continues to teach me the importance of client-relationships and the process that ensures their satisfaction. As an intern at Plancorp I receive high quality training within four broad fields: institutional asset management, exit strategy planning, retirement planning, and financial planning. On a daily basis I do the following:- Work with software such as eMoney, Tamarac (AdvisorView), SalesForce, custodian sites, etc.- Update FIA and eMoney assumptions- Update Estate Plan documents to reflect changes made- Write reports on a variety of different topics (ex: Dollar-Cost Averaging)- Run reports such as performance reviews, holding reports, etc.- Create alternative scenarios in eMoney- Draft client communication such as follow-up emails or requests for information- Review client information to help ensure the best recommendation is made
