Hello! My name is Emily Bernardi. I am a family nurse practitioner certified through the ANCC as a FNP.I have experience as the Director of Student Health Services at Elmhurst University where I managed the student Wellness Center. I oversaw the medical and office staff members and oversaw the administrative and operational procedures of the Wellness Center.Prior to this, I was a nurse practitioner at Midwest Express Clinic Urgent Care. Here I gained important clinical skills such as suturing, incising and draining abscesses, and diagnostic skills. I became confident in my critical thinking skills and my ability to come up with a treatment plan for my patients.
