Emily Bettle is a School-Age Immunisation Team Lead at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Colleagues describe them as "I worked with Emily during my time as Lead Nurse of Test and Trace for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This team came under the Health 4 Work (Occupational Health) Department and is part of the trust’s Corporate Division. Initially I line managed Emily in her Caseworker Role where she performed extremely well. Her communication was excellent amongst colleagues and management. Emily’s tasks were always completed to target time frames and to a good standard and she therefore earnt a promotion to co-manage the Test and Trace Team and lead the service alongside myself. Emily has an outstanding attitude to work and has always kept herself up to date with the ever-changing procedures, training and documentation. Emily represented the Test and Trace team well within meetings and with key stakeholders and I was always assured having her by my side in matters of management. A large part of Emily's role included training and supporting the rest of the Test and Trace Team. She has proven herself to be excellent at this as she communicates at all levels and utilised a variety of teaching styles to cater for all styles of learning. Emily enjoyed running team meetings and conducting 1:1 training sessions (supporting team members to upskill). This was always well received by our team. Emily is a born leader as she continuously encourages each person to achieve their full potential. I am highly confident she will successfully achieve whatever she puts her mind to."
