At the weekends I run my own therapy business providing massage and Reiki treatments for women. I have a therapy room in my home in Bracknell. I did my Reiki attunements in 2004 and 2006, and completed the ITEC Diploma in Holistic massage in 2007. In 2008 I obtained the Alternative Therapies Diploma in Indian Head Massage. I also have an interest in astrology, which I have self studied for many years and am in the process of completing a diploma so that I can have a recognised qualification.

I worked as a veterinary surgeon for 18 years before retraining as a teacher and completing my PGCE in 2016. I am currently employed as a college lecturer at MYF Training. The part of the job I enjoy most is helping and supporting our students and teaching in the classroom. Through this role and my role as a veterinary surgeon I have developed good communication and problem solving skills as well as clinical knowledge.
