As shift manager I supervise and strategize the delegation of tasks to my team while encouraging a positive work environment and building relationships with coworkers and customers. I contribute to hands-on sales associate and buyer training. I oversee customer complaints and returns or exchanges. I am a keyholder and handle $6,000 among all registers while opening and closing along with running change orders and checks to the bank.As a buyer I communicate buying and pricing policies and guidelines, memorize pricing strategies, facilitate condition checking and pricing, and present quotes to selling customers. Collaborate with my team in coordinating 1-3 engaging events each week on campus to maximize awareness of DoorDash and their subscription plan, Student DashPass. I market Student DashPass trials at events to facilitate trial sign-ups and encourage retention after the month-trial ends. My team and I optimize "cost-per-sign-up" by minimizing event costs and maximizing event success. I also develop media to efficiently communicate Student DashPass benefits while maintaining DoorDash's brand guidelines.

I worked in various positions including cashiering, court monitoring, food preparations, and Sky Camp counselor where I actively engaged with up to 140 guests to create an exciting, welcoming, and safe atmosphere. I upheld communication between coworkers to efficiently switch between roles during shifts. I strove to build relationships with customers by recognizing frequent guests and suggesting memberships or promotions. I was awarded Team Member of the Month in May 2021 and sold the most memberships in May 2021.

I worked in the drive-thru where I took guests' orders, bagged orders, worked the window register, and maintained a clean environment all in efficient time to meet efficiency goals. I memorized popular menu items and menu items with common allergens to provide suggestions to guests. I built relationships with customers by creating an inviting environment and encouraging them to ask questions and get menu suggestions. I utilized communication skills to work cohesively with coworkers in other areas of the restaurant.
