Use established creative concept and style guide to build and revise ad layouts according to media project specs and direction from marketing and senior leadership. Deliver all elements within layouts with absolute accuracy: including but not limited to valid dates, promotions, prices, images, product descriptions, logos, disclaimers, ad copy and spelling.· Execute image processing; including but not limited to color correcting, outlining and retouching.· Release final files to the printer; including but not limited to executing final edits, pre-flighting all color, pre-flighting image resolution, creating versions, creating PDFs and transferring files to the printer.· Responsible for other duties as assigned or developed.

Design layouts for multiple publications in Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois. Work on a team of designers to meet deadlines and work on improving the production of various publications.

Using Falcon Editorial, Adobe InDesign and Bridge, I layout sections of the newspaper. When outputting, I export PDFs of the newspaper to the printer using an FTP program as well as upload them to www.dailynebraskan.com via collegepublisher.com.

Oversee and manage entire staff of reporters, photographers, designers, artists, copy editors and columnists for a weekly edition. Also in charge of assigning photos, art and articles for the New Student Enrollment Issue as well as Jazz In June pamphlets.
