With over 25 years experience in the Child Protection, Out of Home Care and Youth Justice. I am motivated by social justice, evidence based practice and data informed decision making. I work to empower staff to thrive in the complex work they do alongside caregivers, children, youth, families and communities.I have had a diverse career in direct service delivery, staff development, quality, senior practice and leadership roles in Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania. Alongside my experience as a Social Worker I spent time in the private sector managing national community development and training programs for community controlled health services in remote and regional communities.Currently an independent Social Work Consultant specialising in facilitation, coaching and training design. I am skilled in reflective practice, group supervision, and complex assessments. Formally a certified TCI and TCI-F Trainer and CARE Educator.
