Creatively produced by Toi Graduate & myself, Festival of Work in Development is a two-day school wide event platforming work in development and strengthening a performative research culture. The festival is a programme of events proposed predominantly by Toi Whakaari students and selected artists that present an enquiry within event, live performance and screen practice. The festival offers artists a point of engagement with a live audience that can be structured to meet their independent investigation needs. The Festival audience includes current Toi Whakaari students, alumni, and guests invited by artists necessary to participate with or review their investigations.

Designed & Directed by Toi graduate Charley Draper, the Music Video Project is a project undertaken by the first year designers to create a professional standard music video for Kamundi's "Burn Them Down".

A tale for those feelings the symptoms of a world gone febrile, our dreams ignored, our anxiety made a spectacle and our loneliness kept private. A tale for the overwhelmed who remain overwhelmed.
