ad·vo·catenoun[ˈadvəkət]a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policyAs a Recruiting Coordinator for NTT DATA, I strive to advocate. Not only do I advocate for a positive candidate experience, but I also advocate for NTT DATA's DEI policies and strive to participate in them to show my efforts. Personally, I strive to advocate for all women, including those in higher education who may need an extra voice to advocate for their rights and support. With my bachelor's degree in human resource management from Tennessee Technological University, minors in Sociology, Communication Studies, and Social Sciences, and SHRM-CP, I hope to not only bring and strengthen my skills in any project I participate in but also bring my advocacy along with me. I currently utilize my skills in data tracking and analysis, recruiting platforms, and general HR competencies to schedule interviews, coordinate with interviewers across different time zones, collect and report feedback, and update candidate information. I also assist in managing the Handshake Job Posting Platform and verifying I-9 forms.
