I assist with scientific research being undertaken in the marine environment using diving techniques. I am familiar with the use of arga masks with an alternate air source using through water comms. I have also used half mask techniques with an alternate air source in a professional context. Previous to this I was trained with the use of the Kirby Morgan dive system during my HSE course.

Yacht delivery crewing, from Plymouth, England on boats ranging from 40-95ft in length. Correct manning and safety requirements are adhered to, respective to the size of vessel, at all times.To ensure the safe delivery of yachts in South West England, crew are expected to undertake navigational watch duties in daylight and night hours, manage deck operations and ensure safety equipment is readily available before passage. Boats are stowed thoroughly ensuring the delivery of an undamaged and well maintained yacht which is often coming new from the shipyard.Skills: day and night navigation in tidal waters, adaptability to new and unfamiliar vessels, line handling, stowage, preparation of yachts for loading to ship.

Responsibilities: offering independent, community-based care in clients’ homes.Skills: Safety procedures, identifying and reporting concerns to managing staff, time management shown by arriving on time to appointments, organisation & relationship development.

Two seasonal contracts completed on a 38M privately owned motor yacht. Responsibilities split between the deck and interior department:-Deck: On board maintenance including winch servicing, winter shipyard work (fairing & filling, bare wood cleaning, sanding and oiling, assisting in the engine room). Other responsibilities were to maintain working knowledge of safety equipment on board, navigation, independent handling of 36ft chase boat, port procedures (rotational management of aft deck), engine room watch procedures on passage, designated muster responsibilities, wash downs and product knowledge.Interior: Interior: Stowage, guest relations, service, cabin servicing.Skills: Teamwork and strong communication with crew, formal communication with guests, adaptability, and flexibility, shown by working in multiple departments.

Seasonal Position within the Superyacht industry on a 38M privately owned motor yacht. Entry position with responsibilities in yacht maintenance and port procedures:Wash downs, line handling, watch duties including log procedures, tender driving and maintenance on board.

Part-time alongside College.Responsibilities: Serving customers deli food and coffees. Skills: Food hygiene, customer facing, cash handling.
