Hi! My name is Milly and I am a full-time student at UNLV!I am currently working towards a BSBA in Marketing and I am an Honors College student. While earning my undergraduate degree, I aim to create relationships with my peers and professors and to build connections within the Las Vegas community. For the last three years, I have worked as a Part-time Admin for the Las Vegas Division of D.R. Horton Homebuilder. Throughout the last year I have taken on a role in assisting the marketing department, aiding in website optimization, social media content creation, division newsletters, merchandise design, and the creation of various presentations. Additionally, I, guided by the Division President and team, head the annual fiscal year presentation, an extensive task which has allowed me to grow immensely in the last three-years. In this position I have not only learned how to perform well in a high-stakes professional environment, but also developed a love for marketing and the corporate world. Upon beginning college, I took a position at St. Viator Catholic Parish as an intern and head of media. This position has brought great joy to my life, allowing me to experiment with advertising and social media management, as well as giving me opportunities to connect with the youth of the Las Vegas community! Though I am new to the business world, I have high ambitions. I am currently most interested in digital and media marketing and advertising. In five years I see myself having completed a master’s degree program and working at an established enterprise within the city! I love to learn and I do not shy away from a challenge. Previous professors and bosses have recognized me as driven and very coachable, and I am always willing to go above and beyond for the betterment of my team or project at hand.
