Developed PepsiCo North American fleet sustainability and decarbonization strategy. Managed over $20 million in grants. Implemented electric vehicle charging to support medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks. Actively participated in sustainable transportation industry, presenting at industry forums such as ACT Expo, VERGE, Women in Trucking, and Clean Commercial Transportation Update (CCTU).

Worked on sustainability project management, air quality, climate change resiliency, and grant writing. Accomplishments:Environmental Grants Program: Developed and administered the Program under manager's guidance. Identified sustainable projects that served the needs of airport stakeholders and for which there were grant-funding opportunities. Reviewed grant assurances and certifications with stakeholders to understand airport’s ability to comply, and collaborated with Risk, Legal and the Executive team to seek approval prior to submission. Completed successful grant applications valued over $6.1M to fund up to 75% of the cost for projects which reduced emissions associated with aircraft idling, replaced diesel buses with CNG buses, installed EV chargers, and improved energy efficiency of the airfield ramp lighting system.Project Management: Managed a Sustainability Demonstration project of electrochromic glass from design through commissioning and evaluation. Was responsible for preparation of specifications for solicitation, and management of construction and commissioning. Project was completed on schedule and within budget. Demonstration project successfully reduced heat load in the test area, enhanced passenger comfort, and increased revenue in concession by 101% YOY in the quarter following the installation.Carbon Neutrality Certification: Compiled and analyzed data from all airport energy sources and helped develop unique tracking system that allowed DFW Airport to successfully certify as the first Carbon Neutral airport outside of Europe under the Airport Carbon Accreditation program. Sustainability Conference Planning: Played critical role in forming the Airports Going Green conference themes, topics, speakers and schedule, designing the social media content, managing event coordination, and ensuring compliance with procurement requirements. 94% of the attendees would recommend the conference to others.

In this position, I researched and designed sustainability projects for the airport, researched projects completed by other airports and airlines, researched grant opportunities for funding projects, met with various contractors to gather data for feasibility studies, assisted the LEED certification process for the airport headquarters building project, and drafted a green cleaning policy.
