A comprehensive PR internship, in-house at a bespoke bridal and formalwear company. Working directly under the Owner and Director, weekly tasks included:Copywriting;Marketing and communications;Photo shoots (ecommerce/studio and on location - bump-in/out, steaming garments, dressing and coordinating models);Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest);Graphic design (using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva);Website review (Shopify);Photo and video editing;Visual merchandising;Assessing stock quality;Liaising with clients in person and via various online commerce channels.This internship was based around a launch event to introduce a new collection of designs to the public. Event management duties involved planning publicity strategies, collaborating with wedding suppliers, marketing, ticket and RSVP coordination, and general communications tasks post-event.

An in-house role at Australia's largest not-for-profit child care provider, requiring the management of legal enquiries from a company of over 15,000 employees. Daily, I was responsible for regulatory and compliance matters, including subpoenas (minimum three per week) as well as conducting general research for the Legal Counsel.This particular role required an understanding of the relevant law and regulations governing education and care services across the country. Areas of work include:Family law (incl. interpreting parenting and intervention orders);Employment law and Fair Work matters;Discrimination law;Property law;Privacy law;Trade marks and copyright.This role required a refined ability to tailor communication to various recipients and explain complex concepts using accessible language and exceptional written and verbal skills.

A short-term internship producing editorial content across five mastheads, circulating regionally and nationally. Working under the Editorial Coordinator, duties included:Pitching, researching, writing, and editing articles for both print and online publication;Social media management across Instagram and Facebook, selecting visual content, scheduling posts and planning copy, catering to vastly different readerships.

As a law clerk, I provided assistance to both solicitors and clients with conveyancing matters. Daily duties involved:Handling residential conveyancing files (minimum 60 sale and purchase contracts at any given time);Manning main phone lines and assisting with calls from bankers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, solicitors, and clients to facilitate successful property settlements;Clerical and mail duties, as well as general accounting, archiving, diary management, and invoicing;Attending property settlements in Brisbane CBD.
