I use the data collected by model experiments from phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6), the latest phase of a collaborative framework that works to improve climate models and their assessment of climate change. Simultaneously, I am also working on a project that focuses on the formation and structure of hurricanes. I am collecting data from atmospheric and ocean models that analyzes the physics of hurricanes and understand the relationship between the atmosphere and the ocean during a hurricane. Show less

As an intern, I conducted a statistical analysis in Python to compare the frequency and intensity of atmospheric river occurrence in three different climate scenarios (present day, 1.5 C above preindustrial levels, and 2 C above preindustrial levels)

I conducted field research in Utqiagvik, Alaska collecting ice core samples to quantify the impact of microplastics in the polar marine ecosystem. I also worked to implement an educational outreach program at a local high school in Utqiagvik, Alaska. In the Ice laboratory at Dartmouth, I analyzed over 30 subsamples of ice cores and then presented myresearch findings at the Wetterhahn Science Symposium at Dartmouth.
