Emily believes well designed spaces and environments can change people’s lives. Her personal style is a timeless blend of classical design paired with modern and European furnishings to create dynamic spaces.After completing her Master’s degree in Interior Design, Emily worked at the prestigious residential design firm, Tom Stringer Design Partners and Branca, Inc. The former known for modern, edited, spaces and the latter known for bold colors and prints paired with antique furnishings.Inspiration comes from all facets of Emily’s life including, design, art, nature, travel, and culture. She continually seeks knowledge and explores new ideas.She believes a beautiful home is one that is fiercely edited, and only filled with items that have meaning. The functionality of the space is well planned and designed to be used purposefully and allows light to fill the space. In addition, the room has scale, proportion and balance, which creates a gracefulness and poetry in the design.Emily faces each new design challenge with enthusiasm and lets the character of the space, and the owner’s personality, lead the direction of the design to transform the space into inviting, intimate, beautiful, well functioning rooms.
