As a certified PCQI, I created and implemented our very first third-party audit Supplier Assurance Level food safety plan. Maintenance of a high-level FSP includes annual and onboarding food safety and manufacturer training, bi-annual mock recalls, monthly internal audits and environmental testing. The most important aspect of all is creating a company culture where employee and food safety is of the highest priority. Our food safety plan is a resource not a shelf display, In sales, I navigated the rough waters of 2020 to bring on Whole Foods while developing creative ways to connect with our home-bound customers through marketing and home delivery. In 2020, I designed and built a brand new website with UX design and shopping capabilities.

Eat Retreat is a weekend workshop dedicated to good food and innovative thinking. Created for leaders in the food community, the objective of this invite-only event is to inspire, rejuvenate and celebrate a shared joy for food. Eat Retreat is designed as a hands-on, experiential weekend with an intimate group of 30-35 food innovators. Learning and sharing takes place formally through workshops and informally around the campfire. It’s summer camp meets the farmers’ market!
