I offer accounting services such as preparation of management accounts, assistance with statutory reporting, p&l/balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, financial systems improvements, reconciliations, financial review and assistance with business planning.Due to my experience within corporate finance I also offer assistance in corporate transactions such as the raising of finance, acquisitions, disposals and expansions. Specific services offered include assistance with writing business plans, information memorandums, other documentation such as offer letters and heads of terms, preparing projections including the building of detailed integrated financial models.

• Head up a finance team of 7 responsible for reconciling balances sheet accounts, eliminating intercompany trading and preparing management accounts and statutory accounts for various divisions of the group.• Preparation of group accounts including the published annual report as well as individual statutory entity accounts.• Management of PLC central department’s forecasts and management accounts.• Responsible for monthly group balance sheet and cashflow statement.• Group cash flow, profit and loss account and balance sheet forecasting.• Adhoc projects such as the integration of acquired entities, analysis around potential acquisitions, and more recently, in depth involvement in a group refinancing, including preparation of an integrated medium term cash flow model as well as the provision of all information required by lenders.• General response to queries raised from within the business day to day.• Provision of general support to the Director of Accounting and Finance Director.• Staff management including coaching and development.

-Project management of transactions such as disposals, acquisitions, management buy-outs and refinancing transactions from the initial pitch for the work to negotiation with third parties, deal structuring, management of the client relationship and execution of the deal. -Responsible for preparation and review of reports and documents such as information memorandums, business plans, strategic reviews, bank facility application documents as well as other standard documentation required in corporate transactions. -Significant financial modelling experience, including managing highly complex integrated finance models and building financial models from scratch.-Strong numerical and financial skills, with considerable experience in financial analysis, financial appraisal, interpretation and presentation of data and in company valuations using methods such as DCF, precedent transactions and trading company comparable information. -Two major transaction completions; firstly advising Bank of Scotland Integrated Finance on its investment into a print management company and secondly advising an International pharmaceutical business on refinancing its pan-european bank facilities.-Developed a wide range of non-technical skills, such as sales and marketing, networking, communication and presentation skills. Led many marketing initiatives and campaigns aimed at winning work both within Corporate Finance and across other departments. Strong track record of success in such campaigns due to relentless drive and determination.-Selected for the Accelerated Leadership Programme which provided exposure to challenging opportunities such as leading office wide business communication events, taking part in strategy workshops with clients, meeting and interviewing very senior members of the UK and Global leadership teams, one on one mentoring, taking part in and reaching the semi finals of The Times Leadership Challenge 2008 and development of coaching techniques and styles.
