The project involved conducting qualitative assessments to gauge the current state of readiness of each QE, quantitative analyses of QE data, and in-depth analyses of Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs). 2016: Encounter Data Analysis project at Healthix- Analyzed hospital encounter data (ADT messages) in HL7 format for Healthix, the largest Regional Health Information Organization in New York State, to improve data quality and alignment with national standards in an overall effort to effect positive patient outcomes, greater interoperability, and cost savings. 2015-2016: Enhanced Meaningful Use project at the Citywide Immunization Registry- Served as Lead Informatics Analyst for the NYC Department of Health’s Citywide Immunization Registry (CIR) and provided guidance on operations and policy to a small team of HL7 interface analysts.- Collaborated with members of the CIR’s Interoperability Team to drive process improvements for their bidirectional, real-time, SOAP, HL7 web service and Meaningful Use onboarding efforts.- Coordinated data QA processes for an average of 20,000 HL7 messages per day transmitted by over 1,500 facilities- Presented at the 2016 American Immunization Registry Association conference: "Using Quality Assurance Tools to Improve HL7 Reporting to NYC's Citywide Immunization Registry"
