After almost three years with yurbuds, I took exciting role with a nonprofit in its very early stages. As the first and only employee of Explore Transplant, I managed the distribution of an extensive curriculum that helps kidney patients and their loved ones make informed transplant decisions. We educate medical professionals, patients, potential living donors and the public about transplant and living donation. I was responsible for building strong infrastructures, including recruiting and managing a board of directors, developing budgets, marketing strategies, sales, website development, and solely hosting 21 Dialysis Provider trainings nationwide.

As one of the first employees of yurbuds I was inundated in every step of the “startup” process. My first year was spent launching the customer service department, managing events, and supporting sales. I then transitioned into a more formal sales role, helping the company to grow from one to ten million in one years’ time. While customer service and sales were my official roles, I also acted as the administrative assistant to the CEO, the cause marketing manager, and the national event coordinator
