Emily A. DeVuono, a Louisville native, concentrates her practice in representing people who have been injured as a result of harmful products, drugs and medical devices; medical negligence; nursing home neglect and abuse; and automobile and truck wrecks. Emily graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Humanities. She received her Masters of Art in Humanities from the University of Louisville in 2010. Emily graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2015. While a student at Brandeis, Emily served as Notes Editor of the University of Louisville Law Review, was a member of Brandeis’ 2015 Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Team, and was chair of the Student Bar Foundation. She also volunteered as a teacher for Central High School’s Street Law program. Emily is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. She is a member of the Louisville, Kentucky, and American Bar Associations, American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA). In addition to her law practice, Emily volunteers as the co-coach of Brandeis’ Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Team, which won the National Championship in 2016. She also volunteers her time at a local youth group.
