Emily Dirr is a strong education professional, recently graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has interests in food animal medicine and is currently a resident in large animal internal medicine at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She recently completed an internship in food animal reproduction and medicine with the FARMS department at the University of Florida. She is an experienced Tutor with a demonstrated history of working with students in the e-learning industry. She is a skilled Research Technician in the neuroscience field who studied cognition, sensorimotor impairment, and a ketogenic diet in a Mouse Model of Parkinson's disease. As a research technician, she has experience working with gel electrophoresis, genotyping, mouse models, Breeding mouse lines, and data analysis. Emily is the co-founder and secretary for the Columbus, Ohio-based nonprofit organization Lost Pet Recovery. She aids owners in the search and humane trapping of their lost pets.
