Supervise and evaluate instructional departments, custodial and maintenance staff, and instructional and staff assistants. Gather and evaluate student data. Coordinate community events at the school; communicate with local media and stakeholders.

As School Testing Coordinator I am tasked with managing all preparation, testing, and remediation for assessments including SOLs, WIDA, & STAMP. I also initiate, organize, and participate in student reviews to identify and create plans for those at-risk of dropping out. I create a testing portfolio on each student to monitor progress to graduation.

Served as assistant Social Studies Department Chair. Facilitated an intensive service-learning program for all government students; led and participated in professional learning communities; advised and served as the co-sponsor of the Model United Nations Club. Experience teaching World History I & II, Model UN, Debate, Academic & AP Government.

Selected to participate in an intensive course offered through the City of Charlottesville to learn about local government and the issues impacting the community. Proposed and complete a project to positively impact change in Charlottesville.

Taught five sections of AP Government. Implemented a curriculum to foster understanding of the American political system. Prepared students for success on the AP exam.
