In her 6 years of teaching math and science, she has managed several different initiatives outside the classroom, ranging from organizing student success meetings, creating and executing professional development for other teachers, and leading professional learning communities. Emily worked with other school leaders to create a team with a shared purpose and vision, and develop and implement strategies to bring the school and district vision to fruition.Emily is looking for a position where she can integrate her skills of management, communication, and strategic planning. Through her years of teaching, Emily has developed a passion for challenging the gender gap inequality in the STEM workforce.
