Hello! I am Emily, a third-year International Business student at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. As a Project Assistant with plan2plan, I have grown a lot. From managing event details to negotiating hotel contracts and managing social media pages, I have learned to contribute to the successful planning of events and meetings, as well as raising company awareness online. An earlier internship in the same company provided me the opportunity to get to know the business world, with focus on event planning, and gave me a solid foundation for my current roles. My career journey so far additionally includes my remote roles at b.value AG and Rossel & Gaube GbR. While both positions have deepened my understanding of business operations, my work with b.value has also expanded my practical knowledge about the world of venture capital. Living and studying in California for a year has taught me a lot about myself but also other cultures. That year broadened my perspective and taught me to communicate effectively with people from various backgrounds. Moreover, it showed me the importance and power of a global mindset in today's interconnected world.I'm set to obtain my International Business degree in 2025, and I'm looking forward to use what I've learned in my future career path.With my commitment to continuous learning, I am excited to contribute meaningfully to future roles while expanding my understanding of the international business world.
