In addition to providing customer service to more than 100 customers in any given workday, I have learned to match their needs with our product line and inform them about all aspects of our in-depth loyalty program. With this position I also have gained experience documenting inbound inventory from third-party vendors as well as coordinated the placement of our new promotional signage each week.

I was pushed outside of my comfort zone when placed onto the ABOne Finance Team, but faced the challenge head on. Over the 10-week program I not only learned how to analyze financial data reports, but also designed six PowerBI tools to make typically number-filled reports more visual, and gained extensive knowledge about branding in the beverage industry.

Pathfinders is the student tour guide organization at the University of Pittsburgh and the largest collegian tour guide organization in the nation. With this position, I completed extensive training - learning many facts and points of pride about the school and the city of Pittsburgh, how to communicate respectfully with people of different backgrounds and cultures who come to our campus, and the art of effectively communicating a professional image/message to prospective students and their families. In addition, I was promoted to Director of Recruitment, Hiring, and Training Fall 2019. This position not only allowed me to learn about marketing the organization to attract new members, but also how to properly conduct an entire hiring process start-to-finish, and then leading new members through an 11-week long training curriculum. My proudest accomplishment while in this role was my DE&I recruitment initiative where I reached out to over 250 of the 400+ student organizations on campus to promote collaboration amongst the diverse Pitt community. This allowed us to get the word out about Pathfinders to those with vastly different interests and backgrounds and therefore led to a natural inflow of applicants that better represent the student population of Pitt.

As the Summer 2019 Marketing Promotions Intern I had the pleasure of working with a marketing team that acts as an in-house agency - executing all creative materials, marketing ideas, scheduling, and communication efforts for the numerous entities that fall under the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) brand.HE&R Company crosses over a wide variety of industries including:•Hospitality - The Hotel Hershey, The Hershey Lodge, Hersheypark Camping Resort•Entertainment - Hersheypark Stadium, the GIANT Center, and the Hershey Theatre•Food/beverage•Health/beauty - MeltSpa by Hershey•Amusement/theme park - Hersheypark•Zoos/aquariums - ZooAmericaMy main responsibilities for the summer included planning and then carrying out special events such as live on-site radio broadcasts from Hersheypark. This program allowed me to step outside of a set role and simultaneously explore my other interests. With this position my responsibilities included interacting with customers, documenting both inbound and outbound inventory, and handling with money. As a Sales Associate, I was constantly given the ability to build upon my communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

I chose this retail job to give myself an experience that was a more fast-paced with a higher density of customer interaction than I had ever worked with before. I worked as a cashier, straightening merchandise, and facilitating returns when needed while I also learned a lot about the JCPenney corporation's rules and business tactics. In a single work day I would provide customer service to over 200 customers per work day, and in addition, during my time I issued over 70 customer applications for the store credit card system. Although I was one of the store's newer employees I also was given the opportunity to help train 5 incoming employees on cash register programs and store policies as well.

As a swim aide I taught young children proper swimming form and techniques along side a certified swim instructor. I was in charge of keeping the pool deck clean during class times, presented safety rules to classes through interactive games and activities, and tracked individual student progress.
