This May, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Certificate in Athletic Training. My education has provided me with skills in research, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. In addition to my education, I was a member of my university’s NCAA Division 1 swim team. My four years on the team taught me not only about the values of teamwork and endurance but also perseverance in challenging times. During my four years, I qualified for the Olympic Trials and was a double qualifier for NCAAs. I am also an Honorable All-American and won Most Improved in the 2020 -2021 season. As for previous work opportunities. I interned at a company called The Zone where I did research on mental health among student-athletes. I read peer-edited articles and then simplified the information into a format suitable for an App. During my time at The Zone, I worked in teams, did independent research, and worked closely with the company's CEO. I have experience as a leader throughout my four years in Wisconsin. I was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving in my senior year as president. In this position, I was the voice for all student-athletes at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during meetings with our Athletic Board and a representative for the Big 10. This leadership position has improved my skills in communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management.
