My work is centered around arts, craft, community and cultural heritage. I have a varied work history that has given me a deep skill set to offer organizations. I have done everything from building a boat to closing large wholesale accounts. My undergraduate degree is in Global Studies, where I focused on international culture and communication. I have either worked or studied on four continents. I have experience interacting with friends, classmates, coworkers, and customers for whom English was a second, third or fourth language. I love to work with creative people doing work that makes an impact.I am a June 2022 graduate of the Arts Administration master’s program at Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. Called the “MBA of the Arts” my studies included instruction in marketing, strategic planning, fundraising and donor development, financial accounting and technology tools- all taught with the nonprofit arts and culture sector in mind. My cohort discussed the latest trends and issues in the field, including DEI, technology integration and modern management techniques. My master's thesis “Tradition, Function and Artistry: Craftspeople in the Modern American Art World” used interviews with current craftspeople producing functional work to examine the position of Craft in today’s society.
