Worked with multiple nonfiction mind/body/spirit authors, local companies, and Big Five publishing company Simon & Schuster in multiple capacities to produce and promote books.- Created pitch documents for partner Simon & Schuster that helped persuade them to acquire six different titles including Unmedicated by Daily Om founder Madisyn Taylor, De-Escalate by Douglas Noll, and Messages from the Divine by Sara Wiseman- Managed "Literally Yours" custom book program, which involved interfacing with corporate customers, local printers, and publishers nationwide to source books at a discount and design and install customized dedication pages by hand- Assisted in designing, writing and scheduling content for eblasts and newsletters using Mailchimp for B2C and B2B book sales and conferences-Took over the job of uploading ebooks and submitting metadata for print books across Ingram, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon after a communications break down; when there was a problem posting books, I was able to track down the correct contacts at these different distributors to make sure the items were on sale by the date of publication- Reviewed proposals and manuscripts, and used social media and Nielsen purchasing metrics to analyze the size of an author's audience and discern how a potential book might perform- Supported editorial projects, including managing and executing the copyediting for a book and accompanying oracle deck, additionally performing ghostwriting services and catching content inconsistencies- Restored inter-departmental communications through weekly updates and regular editorial calendar distribution
