Connects with stakeholders from across education and business to explore the future development of the Advanced British Standard, a new qualification framework for 16-19 year olds. Manages a great team to create opportunities for people to give their views on the ABS and brings the information together for policy teams to feed their thinking.

I lead a high performing, diverse team to develop and deliver a programme of cutting edge research identifying the skills needed for the future labour market. I am responsible for governance and programme delivery for this high profile unit, set up by the Secretary of State. I created a culture and structure to develop relationships and communication across government, building a network of contacts and partners across academia, business, education providers and departments. Negotiating high demand for our services, I prioritise the team's workplan to maximise the effectiveness of the team and their expertise, creating insights and improved information and data in this exciting and important policy area.
