Emily Engelson is an experienced educator with a strong background in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She holds an AS and BA in Early Childhood Education, as well as an MA in Teaching with emphasis on Early Childhood Special Education. Her professional journey includes 5 years as a Paraeducator in special education settings and 8 years as a Behavior Interventionist, where she collaborated with teachers and staff to implement positive behavioral interventions and social skills training for students with special needs.Emily is committed to creating meaningful, genuine, and intentional educational experiences for all students. Her philosophy centers on tailoring curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Throughout her career, she has developed strong communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating high motivation and proven problem-solving skills.
