I am a PhD candidate in the Exercise Psychology Lab at UIUC. My research interests focus on designing theory-based interventions to promote physical activity and reduce sedentary time among adults across the lifespan.

Lead Instructor, Exercise and Health Psychology (Spring 2022)- Instructed a course of 48 undergraduate students on the psychological determinants and consequences of exercise and physical activity as a health-promoting behavioral process. Teaching Assistant PositionsExercise and Health Psychology- undergraduate- and graduate-level course with approximately 50 students covering topics of the epidemiology of physical activity and exercise participation, exercise and mental health, and theory-based exercise interventions and psychological outcomes.Physical Activity Research Methods- undergraduate-level course with approximately 30 students per section focusing on defining physical activity and associated terms and concepts; providing detailed understanding of approaches and tools for measuring physical activity; and introducing statistical methods for physical activity research.Social Science of Human Movement- undergraduate-level course with approximately 30 students per section introducing psycho-social aspects of human movement.
