I am called the office queen because if I don't know how to do something, I figure out how to do it. Most of my working life has been spent working in an office in various industries including but not limited to: Automotive RepairsConstruction CosmeticsDealershipHospitalityHealth - Assisted LivingRetail In these jobs I have learned about solving procedural issues through developing policies and training staff on how to follow through with these improvements. Much of the work I have done has been accounting related, however, I have written several procedure manuals knowing that one day, I may not be in that job and I wanted to leave my employers set up for success with my replacement.My passion lies in streamlining processes. WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER!Some other interesting work that I have done in the past is responding to RFQ's, working with software developers to design a purchase order system in our accounting software, working with manufacturing companies to develop health & beauty products (supplies orders, import / export, logistics, marketing, sales, hiring etc.). I also have experience in audits (including GST/HST audits) and preparing audit ready books, as well as investigation of fraudulent transactions. My greatest asset at work, by far, is the positive attitude that I bring to the team. I thrive in a workplace that offers positive connections with my colleagues and I refuse to settle for working in a place that doesn't foster that.
