I took on the role of Creative Copywriter at Front Page in September 2019, and from April-September 2020 acted as the sole copywriter for the agency.Wherever words or creative ideas were needed, I was involved. Working in tandem with the client services, design and development teams, I crafted brand stories for a wide range of clients, including brand positioning, mission, vision, values, voice and tone. I developed an appetite for creating B2B and B2C copy that plays a key role in delivering outstanding brands with stories that connect, grip, and get results.Writing everything from campaign-leading headlines and brand tag lines, to brochures, e-learning courses, storyboards, voiceovers, pitches, brand guidelines, web copy and social media – I was heavily involved from conception to end result in almost every project. Internal branding work for Front Page – mission and vision, values, web copy and cross-platform social media content – was also a key part of my role. In addition, while working under the Head Creative Copywriter, I assisted in the delivery of internship programmes – working with interns on projects and giving feedback.

On a freelance basis I provided digital written content for METAL Magazine, an arts and culture magazine based in Barcelona. My responsibilities included: - pitching interview ideas- sourcing and arranging content/ other contributors- conducting interviews - writing to a deadline

In May 2019 I had the exciting opportunity to join the team at Front Page as a Creative Copywriter on a short-term contract. I worked both independently and alongside the Head Creative Copywriter on a number of projects involving research and analysis, strategy and branding, and – of course – writing. Collaborating with the rest of the Content & Strategy team, as well as the Design, Digital Solutions and Client Services teams, I treated each project as an opportunity to learn and share ideas. From developing proposals, brand positioning concepts and well-crafted headlines, to writing those ads, emails and social media posts that require a lightning speed turnaround – understanding how Front Page works as an agency, integrating seamlessly into their workflow and producing consistently exciting creative copy was as challenging as it was rewarding.

I worked part-time to supplement my freelance work as a barista in a lovely Swedish bakery.

This was a really fun project - creating all digital written content for web relaunch of Brooklyn based menswear company 9toFive. I worked alongside design agency Cyber Natives in developing core messaging and a tone of voice which reflected the client’s vision for the 9toFive brand.This was a longer project that also involved working directly with the brand's creator in developing a story focusing on sustainability and social consciousness.

My first freelance project. I was asked by 96 Degrees Digital to provide copy for Derwent Rural Counselling Service (DRCS) who were undergoing a web redesign. This job required a fair amount of in-depth research in order to create copy that informed and supported users, including those who were potentially at risk.Our main goal was to make accessing DRCS' services as simple and stress-free as possible. Working toward this goal gave me my first real insight into the psychology behind UX design/copy.
