The role involves accurately managing client’s campaigns, liaison with creative agencies, all of the Global Sales offices, BBC World and BBC.com Marketing teams, website design and technical teams and with the Finance departments. This includes such tasks as the management and optimisation of online campaigns to ensure they are delivered in accordance with client’s needs and requests. Further ensuring online creative’s comply with technical requirements and editorial policies. It requires the ability to work in a highly pressured environment and the knowledge and experience to make business critical decisions at very short notice. Skills I have acquired include an excellent attention to detail, time management, decision-making and problem solving skills. I have learnt to respond to frequent pressure to meet management reporting deadlines and perform requests in a timely and efficient manner with attention to detail being imperative.

The role required me to support day to day European operations altering on-line campaigns to suit clients’ specific needs. This involved acting as a consultant in regard to the decision making process of changes to CPU’s, audit factors, adding and transferring budget and stopping and starting live campaigns. As part of the Client Services team we maintained Siebel the CRM tool and assisted the traffic department in loading and updating campaigns in the bespoke ad-serving system. I was further responsible for preparing all European invoicing and related data for the finance department.

I was specifically responsible for providing the management of all advertising campaigns, including pre-campaign planning and quoting, pre-campaign launch organisation, live campaign tracking and post campaign analysis. My role required me to liase with a variety of internal departments and external organisations, including daily contact with major media agencies and outdoor specialists.
