At this internship, I worked on a Design of Experiments Protocol regarding suture testing procedures and performed over 1,300 tensile tests for that DOE to understand potential suture test method variation. I also designed multiple testing fixtures within Solidworks which were used in later testing and developed a protocol to organize testing fixtures and maintain traceability for future projects.

I worked at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a contractor through ATA Aerospace. I procured parts for engineers for complex projects and improved efficiency by creating a procurement request form. Additionally, I led multiple meetings with the three prime contractors of NASA to discuss procurement updates. I also researched current systems for inventory and storage and developed a new inventory tracking spreadsheet.

Over the summers, I worked with patrons in a fast-paced environment, taking and fulfilling orders. I was also one of the first employees at this brand new restaurant so I helped teach/train new employees. In the beginning of my job, I only worked 2 days out of the 5 days they were open per week. After two weeks of working I was asked to work more so I increased my work days to 4 days per week.
