At the Missouri History Museum, I helped collect data by asking visitors to fill out a short survey about themselves and their experience on their way out the door. These surveys aided the Coordinator of Evaluation and Audience Development and allowed her to compile data about current visitors as well as identify the populations the museum did not yet appeal to.

University Of Missouri-St. Louis

This position is my assistantship through the Museum Studies graduate program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). As the Curatorial Assistant at Gallery 210, I assisted the director with paperwork and planning of upcoming exhibitions, including but not limited to, loan forms and appearance agreements. I helped oversee the gallery staff and volunteers and organized staffing at gallery events when necessary. I also curated an exhibition featuring the faculty and students of the Art Department at UMSL titled "Hung Together." In addition, I have also learned hands-on skills regarding hanging and mounting pieces of artwork, as well as handling and preparation for display.

Kansas City, Missouri Area

During the summer of 2017 I held an academic internship in the European Painting and Sculpture department of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Under the supervision of the Provenance Specialist, I began conducting provenance research on the museum's collection of European sculpture. My primary focus was on Nazi-Era provenance. I was responsible for conducting the research myself through databases and the museum's library, as well as putting together documents with notes and information on what I have found on each object. From there, the Provenance Specialist was able to pick up where I left off and begin deeper research that would require travel and special access.

Greater St. Louis Area

My final year of my Bachelor's Degree I was a Resident Assistant in the Upperclassmen residence hall at Webster University. I oversaw a floor of 30 students and facilitated involvement not only with each other but also throughout the university. When residents needed help or guidance, I was the first person they would go to. As well as helping students, I had additional tasks of completing paperwork such as incident reports and room conditions reports, and also upholding all Residential Life and university policies.
