I am currently in my third year of undergraduate studies and am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, with a minor in Child and Family Studies. I have always had a deep interest in the field of social work and am passionate about helping people. In addition to my academic studies, I have also been involved in extracurricular activities related to my major. To name a few, I am a peer mentor for the FUTURE program at the university, Secretary for BSWO, (The Bachelor's Social Work Organization), and Co-Director of Campus Involvement for VOLthon, which raises money for East Tennessee Children's Hospital. In past years, I also served as a Diversity and Inclusion Fellow for the College of Social Work and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director for my sorority. Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities that await me after completing my undergraduate studies. I hope to continue my education by pursuing a Master's in Social Work at UT. Ultimately, my goal is to become a licensed social worker and work in a setting where I can make a positive difference in the lives of those I serve. For now, I am taking the necessary steps to actualize my goal.
