Daily tasks include labelling prescriptions, dispensing medication, having consultations, supervising patients and chasing up queries. Picked up a temp contract at Tesco to help out during the pandemic. Worked mainly on tills, also helped with stocking shelves, guided customers and the number of people in store and directing to tills. Able to work at a fast pace with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Self reliance and initiative required daily as working in a shop alone and had quiet days. Kept busy and made sure shops were tidy and welcoming. Responsible and accountable for maintaining stock and cashing up the till. Gave attentive and friendly service to each customer make sure they had a pleasant and personal experience. Experience with administration duties to make stock stickers and do spreadsheets for sales. Mostly based in skincare department and needed to retain a vast amount of product knowledge which gave me more confidence to be able to sell and have discussions about products. While in skincare I decided to make my own skincare booklet on the work file for everyone to use. Had notes about brands, key ingredients and their benefits. This gave my other teammates who may be working in the store more information into skincare.

Briefly volunteered at Oxfam for an online retail assistant. Researching items and their value to publish online. Worked alongside a range of individuals with different needs and worked well as a team. Also helped with stock and merchandising and posting pictures for their Facebook page.

Assist in supervising the children. This was a highly involved job in interacting with the children such as reading, doing art and craft, painting, music, sports, games, playing, PE at the primary school.I have worked with a variety of different children at different levels and at times taken over for a period of time and making up games and music.

Vigilance and organisation skills were important as part of a daily routine. Happy to help customers by being approachable and friendly. Kept a welcome and tidy work space while able to handle a range of tasks such as clearing the fitting rooms, helping and serving customer on the shop floor and till as well as watching customers for shop lifters and tending to garments. Communication was a vital task throughout the day. I often kept in contact with my team about tasks that have been done, where in the shop I will be, any other updates and suggest tasks for other members to do. I was comfortable to delegate and guide new staff as there was always something to do. Experience in visual merchandising and using my initiative for new season store fronts. Once boosted sales by 33% and often got employee of the month.

A very busy work enviroment which involved a lot of multitasking. In a shift I would be clearing tables, working toasties, making kids lunch boxes, doing dishes, making sure kitchen and resturant were clean, refill cutlery and sauces and providing great customer service.Communication and team work was very important for an effective service and shift.
