Black Elephant Lace Co were awarded the Best Business of Graduate Enterprise 2016/2017.Established in 2016, as part of my university module, Black Elephant Lace Company sold footwear accessories. As Managing Director I was also responsible for the management of the project. As there were tight deadlines and different functions (operations, design etc) I had to project manage each team to ensure that all deadlines were met. I had to multi-task and help each function when needed, from liaising with a factory in China to speed up delivery of raw materials to assisting with the finance team to ensure we were working to the budget. Through my project management Black Elephant was able to start trading ahead of schedule, resulting in more selling opportunities.
