As a Project Engineer, I have responsibilities split between field work and office work. In the realm of office work, I perform office management including field office set up and management, document control and submission, ticket and receipt management, cost reporting and other general document control. Other in-office responsibilities more closely intertwined with field work include quantity take offs, quality control reporting, plan reviewing, coordination with vendors and subcontractors, weekly timecard management among others. My field and onsite responsibilities entail project monitoring and documentation of work done, subcontractor quantity, equipment tracking and QC Inspection. On my current CTDOT Project, I am the document control coordinator and perform submittal packaging and management and communications with CTDOT and their Inspection firm for this project.

As an Assistant Project Engineer at Empire Paving Inc, a CT based General Contractor, I have had the opportunity to work on 5 different construction projects across the State of Connecticut. I perform administrative and project engineering duties including cost reporting, quantity takeoffs, quotations, CO and PO creation, etc.

Through the CTDOT's intern program, I was placed at Fuss and O'Neill in Manchester, Connecticut. At Fuss and O'Neill, I was working on road design, pavement improvement plans, and structural design.

Interned for 8 weeks at a local middle school to help out and observe teacher and classroom setting for educational purposes. Helped control classroom, enforced rules, taught lessons, assisted with classroom and lesson prep with teacher.
