I work within the electricity industry managing a portfolio of customer accounts. I also get involved with support activities that liaises with other energy companies to fix disputes with customer readings.

I work part time at Trinity Park, Suffolk Show ground where I started in October 2012. The job involves waitressing at large events such as weddings, balls, The Suffolk Show, Christmas parties and Proms, laying up the tables before the event, serving food, clearing the tables, washing up and cleaning the kitchen. I also help Chef in the kitchen with the preparation of starters and desserts. I work well under pressure with the tight time constraints of getting the food to the customers. I am good at taking instructions from management and I can use my own initiative when speaking to customers. I am able to work quickly and efficiently and I am able to do this in a calm and professional manner. I enjoy working as part of a team. I am also very flexible and willing to work at all levels.

My job at Community Action Suffolk is to manage a busy switch board on the reception desk talking to customers about various different things including oil, insurance, and funding advice and answering various queries on these. I also put calls through to other departments in a professional manor and take accurate messages if appropriate. I also take room bookings for the company, I do this by using a system called Event Manager which I have received training on. I also get the training rooms ready for any events which have been booked. I also sort the incoming post and frank the outgoing post. I have also spent two months, February and April at one of our other offices covering sick leave by myself. I was able to provide an excellent service because of my mature and confident manner. There I was in charge of all room bookings and helped with the smooth running of the organisation. Whilst completing my NVQ Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration I have achieved Level 1 Functional Skills Qualifications in English, Mathematics and IT.

I am involved in The Big Local Trust where I attend monthly meetings and sit on a panel as the ‘young person’s representative’ and contribute to making the community a better place. We give out grants to community groups that perhaps need that extra help. This is voluntary and meetings are in my own time.

My job title was Junior Marketing Assistant. My Role in the company was to explore all the different job boards for Doctors CV’s, adding each suitable candidate to a data base called ITRIS.

I worked in a small cafe' at Alton Water Sports Centre. Where I served customers using the till, also preparing food, cleaning and cash handling.
